The CLT courses review how to receive products, stock products, process orders, prepare shipments, maintain inventory, and how to handle hazardous materials in a safe manner, and prepares students for a supervisory role in logistics.

In response to community demand, eMerge Career Education and LAUNCH at USF (formerly The Learning Academy at USF) have introduced “Tech2Work”, an innovative, replicable collaboration of two service providers that “bundles” two college-level tech programs into one, taught at two locations, leading to careers for neurodiversity individuals in the fast-growing field of automation.

Tech2Work students first complete foundational Digital Literacy courses at MTC, then move on to the Emerging Process Automation Technology course at LAUNCH at USF. The initiative includes placement and job coaching services for graduates as well as technical assistance to employers to ensure a natural, supportive work environment for employees of all abilities.

LAUNCH at USF and Tech2work students are provided a courtesy USF ID that gives them access to many of the same opportunities and campus experiences as students attending USF, such as the campus bus system, activities and library facilities.
